Cascade Clamps - Cascade Manufacturing Company was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1943. They began as a small machine shop initially hiring four people. Sales for their first year of operation totaled sixty thousand dollars. The first recorded sales revenues involved the machining and assembly of stainless steel valves, pipe fittings and other parts. During 5 years of operation, the business had expanded to 40 staff and their annual sales volume had risen to 330 thousand dollars. These days, Cascade is one of the top global makers in the material handling business.

Design and production of the company's initial hydraulic cylinder allowed this new company to aggressively pursue new business opportunities. All through the final sixty years, the trade of material handling has developed into a really advanced field with Cascade proudly playing a part in its development. Cascade currently continues to develop as the leader provider of lift truck accessories and various related items.
